This documentary segment features Al
Capone footage from around the time of his
ten-day trial that resulted in his
conviction for tax evasion on October 24,
1931. He was given an 11-year prison
sentence, which was the harshest penalty
ever given to a tax evader. He would end
up serving seven-and-a-half years of his
sentence. Capone was let out early due to
his declining health. The real footage
shows him entering and leaving the
