Joe Kennedy, a Marine who became a high school football coach, is fired for kneeling on the field to say a prayer after games. Believing the action of the school violated his freedoms under the Constitution, Kennedy sued and the case went all the way to the Supreme Court. Eric Close portrays Kennedy in the movie and Amy Acker plays his wife Denise.
