Deepwater Horizon Explosion Footage
A group of university students captured
footage of the Deepwater Horizon just
after the explosions began, which turned
the entire oil rig into a massive inferno.
The group of guys had been fishing around
the rig when they smelled methane gas that
burned their eyes. They fled in their boat
to a safe distance and had an eyewitness
view of the disaster. *The footage
referred to above is not currently
available, so it has been replaced with
this AP footage.
