Gentleman Jack Trailer

The HBO/BBC One series Gentleman Jack is based on the true story and coded diaries of Anne Lister, an English landowner who returned to her ancestral home of Shibden Hall to help restore its prominence, while at the same time making her mark in local industry. Much of the TV series focuses on her lesbian relationships, the details of which were uncovered in the 1930s when the secret code in her diaries was deciphered.
