Lulu Wang Interview with The Farewell Cast
Writer/Director Lulu Wang is joined by the
cast of her movie
The Farewell,
including actors Awkwafina, Tzi Ma and
Diana Lin. Wang talks about the story of
her own grandmother being diagnosed with
cancer, something that her family decided
to keep a secret from her Nai Nai
(grandmother), which became the basis for
the movie. In the interview, she discusses
her own struggle with not telling her
grandmother the truth.
