Shuttle
Discovery blasts off from
Cape Canaveral, Florida close to midnight
on August 29, 2009. The primary purpose of
mission STS-128 was to deliver a
Multi-Purpose Logistics Module that
contained supplies and equipment for the
International Space Station, including a
crew quarter to be installed in Kibo,
three life support racks, an Air
Revitalization System, and a new
treadmill.
