It prompted the History Channel, which aired The Bible miniseries, to release a statement that described the similarities in appearance between Satan and Obama as a "false connection." The statement went on to say that the "History Channel has the highest respect for President Obama." Producer Mark Burnett called the association "utter nonsense."
