agent Dickie Franks (Angus Wright) and CIA
operative Emily Donovan (Rachel Brosnahan)
to become a Cold War spy. He subsequently
enters into a covert partnership with
Soviet officer Oleg Penkovsky (Merab
Ninidze) in order to gather intelligence
that could de-escalate the Cuban Missile
Crisis.
