The Nun tells the story of a
Catholic priest, Father Burke
(Demián Bichir), and a nun, Sister
Irene (Taissa Farmiga), who are sent by
the Vatican to investigate a mysterious
suicide at the Carta Monastery in Romania.
The Nun teaser trailer offers a
glimpse at the satanic force that they
discover lurking around the monastery, a
demon named Valak. The demon was very
loosely inspired (mainly in name only) by
a demon in the goetic
grimoire

Solomon.
