The Warsaw Zoo Documentary WWII
This documentary chronicles life in Warsaw
under the Nazi occupation during WWII,
including the creation of the Warsaw
Ghetto, which at various points during the
war some 500,000 Jews called home. It
highlights the efforts of Jan and Antonina
Zabinski, who hid more than 300 Jews at
the Warsaw Zoo where Jan had been the
director and where the couple lived.
