Insys Rap Video for Subsys - Their Fentanyl Medication
This is the Insys Therapeutics rap video
that they created to promote their
fentanyl-based medication, Subsys, a spray
medication that was applied under the
tongue. Insys was accused of bribing
doctors to prescribe the drug, misleading
insurers about patients' need for the
drug, and making insurers believe that the
payment request for the expensive
medication was coming from a doctor's
office and not the drug company itself.
The Insys Subsys rap video features sales
representatives and a mascot wearing a
costume meant to resemble the Subsys
delivery device. The music video was
played for the jury during the Insys
bribery scheme trial.
